Associate Director, Health System IT Clinical Operations
Ian joined Duke in 2016 as the Health System IT Audit Manager, responsible for leading audits that focus on governance, security and other high-risk areas within Duke University Health System (DUHS). He has 15 years of experience providing IT audit and advisory services as both an internal auditor and external consultant. Prior to joining Duke, Ian was Senior Manager of IT Internal Audit at Luxottica, where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of IT internal audit projects as well as project management and oversight of the IT portion of the annual Sarbanes-Oxley audit. His other previous employers include KPMG and Ernst & Young.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from The College of William and Mary (2006). Additionally, he is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
