Kathryn B. (Kate) Manning

Manager, Internal Audit

Kate joined Duke in 2020 as a Principal Auditor. Her role focuses on financial and operational audit activities of Duke University Health Systems  (DUHS) which includes Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital and Duke Raleigh Hospital. Prior to Duke, Kate worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) for three years (2016-2019) in the Private Company Services practice. At PwC, Kate worked as an external auditor for multiple private companies to provide financial statement audit services.

Kate holds a Masters of Accounting (North Carolina State University, 2016); a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (North Carolina State University, 2015); and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (North Carolina).
