Kelley leads the institutional compliance program which is responsible for guiding the university privacy program, institutional compliance services (dual interests management, sanction and debarment monitoring, case management coordination) and an effective federated compliance structure across the university.
Prior to joining Duke in 2024, Kelley spent over 30 years in the medical device and biologics industry with the last 13 years in global ethics and compliance positions, focused on Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), Sunshine Act, FDA and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) concerns. Kelley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (International Business) and a Master of Business Administration degree (Marketing) from the University of Memphis and a Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Compliance and Law Certification from Seton Hall University, School of Law.
