Clinical Research Compliance Auditor

LaToya joined OARC in 2022 as a sponsored programs assurance and research compliance (SPARC) auditor with focus on performing clinical compliance engagements. LaToya has over 16 years of experience in clinical and research operations and oversight.

Prior to joining the OARC team LaToya was the quality assurance and regulatory compliance associate at the Duke Reading Center (DRC), an image analysis core lab, for five years where she maintained oversight of the quality management system. During her time at the DRC she conducted internal and external audits, worked with pharmaceutical and federal sponsors, as well as managed the quality assurance activities. Additionally, LaToya was a clinical research coordinator in the Department of Ophthalmology for seven years where she managed sponsor and federally funded clinical trials and assisted principal investigators in the development of departmental studies.

LaToya holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (William Peace, 2018); and is a Society of Clinical Research Associates Certified (CCRP) professional.
