Monique King

Principal Auditor

Monique joined Duke in 2024 as a Principal Auditor. Her role focuses on leading audits and/or compliance assurance reviews of Duke University and/or Duke University Health System and its departments, institutes, centers and regulatory functional offices to ensure effectiveness of internal controls and accuracy of recorded data.

Monique brings over 10 years of progressive experience in audit, compliance, and financial reporting. Before joining Duke, she held diverse roles in public accounting at PwC and KPMG, as well as in industry.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Technology, Jamaica (2012). Monique is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Canada) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
