Shared Services Audit Manager
Neil has over 15 years of experience in risk management, internal controls and governance. As shared services audit manager, Neil leads assurance and advisory engagements focused on central technology and common business functions across the university, health system and other Duke affiliates. Prior to Duke, Neil was the internal audit manager at North Carolina State University where he led audit and consulting projects across a broad range of academic and administrative units, business processes, and systems. His other employers include IBM and the U.S. Department of Defense Office of Inspector General.
Neil holds a Master of Business Administration (North Carolina State University, 2017); a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Juniata College, 2007); is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE); a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM); and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
