HR and Operations Manager

Sequoia joined Duke in June 2022 where her role focuses on human resources, fostering workplace culture, cultivating relationships, communications and special projects.

Prior to Duke, Sequoia spent 11 years working at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her last role there, she worked in library administration as the executive assistant supporting the associate university librarian and director for the Health Sciences Library. Sequoia has experience in process improvement, records management, executive-level support and program management.

Sequoia holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences (Chowan University, 2020).
